Racing Car

This speed-time graph shows the speed of a car at various times during a race.

How fast was the car travelling at 10 seconds? ms-1
After how many seconds did the car reach a speed of 30ms-1? s
After how many seconds did the car start travelling at a constant speed? s

Jet Ski Race

This speed-time graph above shows a race between two jet skis. The purple jet ski enters the race zone travelling at 40 miles per hour and the green jet ski enters the race zone travelling at 50 miles per hour.

After how many seconds were both jet skis travelling at the same speed? Give your answer to the nearest second.

Underground Train

This speed-time graph above shows the journey of a commuter train travelling between two stations.
