Your teacher will organise for three large intersecting circles to be marked on the ground with chalk, string or rope. You have to stand in a position in the circles that represents your data. The circles will be called A, B and C.
Here are the situations you can choose using the buttons above
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils with a letter 'a' in their name,
set B is the pupils with a letter 'e' in their name
set C is the pupils with a letter 'o' in their name.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who like cheese,
set B is the pupils who like tomatoes,
set C is the pupils who like Marmite or Vegemite.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who like classical music,
set B is the pupils who like rap music,
set C is the pupils who like dance music.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who are brothers,
set B is the pupils who are sisters,
set C is the pupils who are the only child in their family.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who have at least one brother,
set B is the pupils who have at least one sister,
set C is the pupils who are the only child in their family.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who travel to school by bus,
set B is the pupils who travel to school by car,
set C is the pupils who walk to school.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who like sport,
set B is the pupils who like reading,
set C is the pupils who like computer games.
Stand in the correct position if:
set A is the pupils who are wearing something white,
set B is the pupils who are wearing something black,
set C is the pupils who are wearing something blue.
This is a visual aid designed to be projected onto a whiteboard for whole class exposition. It does not need to be an interactive whiteboard though of course that will make the resource more dynamic. The title "Shine+Write" suggests that the teacher or student can write on the whiteboard to enhance this visual aid.
