(a) She changes 6200 euros (€) to USA dollars ($).
She receives $6740.
Calculate the exchange rate.
(b) The aircraft leaves at 14:15 local time and the flight takes 8 hours 40 minutes.
The time in New York is 6 hours behind the time in Frankfurt.
Find the local time in New York when the aircraft lands.
(c) On the return flight the aircraft leaves New York at 06:35 local time and arrives in Frankfurt at 20:02 local time.
The distance from New York to Frankfurt is roughly 6200 km.
Find the average speed for the flight from New York to Frankfurt.
