Mathematicians are not the people who find Maths easy; they are the people who enjoy how mystifying, puzzling and hard it is. Are you a mathematician? Comment recorded on the 1 August 'Starter of the Day' page by Peter Wright, St Joseph's College: "Love using the Starter of the Day activities to get the students into Maths mode at the beginning of a lesson. Lots of interesting discussions and questions have arisen out of the activities. Comment recorded on the 28 September 'Starter of the Day' page by Malcolm P, Dorset: "A set of real life savers!! |

"Hi,
I am not sure if it is my computer but when I enter an answer some of my answers are changed and are then wrong.
I liked this resource but this problem makes it difficult to use.
Thanks.
[Transum: Sorry to hear that Karen. I have not been able to reproduce that problem from this end. If anyone else experiences a problem please let me know. It may be something on your computer Karen]"

"Hi,
My students have been having the same issue where they put the right answer in but then it changes it and shows that it is wrong.
[Transum: Hello Trisha. Thanks for leaving this message. I am still unable to reproduce the problem. I wonder if someone could give me some more information about when this problem occurs. Is it when the Check button is clicked. Is it when the mouse scroll wheel is used? What value are the answers changed to? What type of device is being used? What browser is being used. Any other ideas gratefully received. Thanks]"
